CSLA 2007: Library Web Site 2.0

Idea #6: Just for fun

1. Go to polldaddy.com

Or another free site for creating polls and surveys (avoid ads if possible). SurveyMonkey.com is great for online surveys.

Create an account.

2. Create your poll and customize the look

Enter your questions and possible answers.

If you allow students to type in their own answers for "Other", you may get inappropriate comments, so beware. I don't allow this.

Click "next" and choose an existing "skin" or customize the look of your poll.

3. Get your code

opy your code and paste it into the HTML of your web site in an appropriate place.

Notice that you and your students can see the poll results instantly at any time.

Not exactly scientific, but fun! Try asking students to submit new poll questions.
